Support can vary by country, carrier, and model variant. An eSIM-capable device must also be carrier-unlocked.

Three things to check

  • Your exact model supports eSIM
  • Your phone is carrier-unlocked
  • You can connect to Wi-Fi to install
Check your phone in settings

Model availability can vary by country, carrier, and hardware version. Use the exact model name when checking.

On iPhone

Open Settings › General › About. An EID shown in the device details indicates eSIM support.

On Android

Open Settings and look under Network & internet, SIMs, or Mobile network. An option to add an eSIM or SIM is a strong compatibility signal.
